Denmark’s hypercar maker brings its track and road versions of the Aurora to California, signaling serious US ambitions before 2027 delivery.
Zenvo, the Danish hypercar outfit, just rolled its most significant statement yet into Monterey Car Week: both iterations of the Aurora, the brand’s flagship V12 machine engineered to compete in rarefied air alongside McLaren and Ferrari. The dual reveal marks the company’s boldest push into the American market, where collectors have barely heard the name.
The Aurora lineup splits into two variants, each engineered for different obsessions. The Tur targets road enthusiasts who want a 12-cylinder weapon for cross-continent runs and daily posturing. The Agil, meanwhile, exists for the track junkie, stripped of excess and tuned for circuit performance. Both pack Zenvo’s signature naturally aspirated V12, a move that stakes ideological ground against the turbo and hybrid saturation that defines modern hypercars. The company hasn’t shied away from raw displacement and mechanical drama in an era of downsizing.
The Monterey appearance serves as a soft landing before customer deliveries commence in 2027, giving wealthy collectors and potential buyers a chance to experience the Aurora in the flesh rather than through renders and press releases. For a brand still building credibility against established hypercar names, showing up where serious money congregates matters. The Danish marque is betting that Monterey’s audience, accustomed to hunting for the next underrated exotic, will bite on a high-revving alternative that refuses to compromise on cylinder count.
