Swiss precision and collectible culture collide as Kasing Lung’s world of monsters takes over a timeless furniture icon.

A Global Exclusive Launch in Hong Kong

Lane Crawford has partnered with USM and artist Kasing Lung to unveil the Beautiful Thing! collection, a limited release that merges modular furniture design with the playful universe of The Monsters.

Debuting exclusively in Hong Kong, the project brings together USM’s clean industrial language and Lung’s instantly recognizable characters for a collaboration that feels equal parts collectible and interior statement.

Bob the Newest Labubu Takes Center Stage

At the heart of the drop is a special edition collectible featuring Bob, the newest Labubu character. The figure arrives seated inside a classic USM glass display cabinet decorated with Kasing Lung’s signature artwork.

The collectible also includes a miniature USM seat, along with an artist signed certificate and NFC verification code for authenticity. The result is a display piece that blends toy culture, design, and craftsmanship in one object.

Furniture Reimagined Through The Monsters Universe

Beyond the collectible, the collaboration extends into a broader furniture capsule built on USM’s iconic modular system. Cabinets and storage units are redesigned with whimsical graphics and character inspired details, turning functional home pieces into expressive art objects.

To celebrate the launch, Lane Crawford introduced an immersive pop up titled The Monsters’ Tea Room at Pacific Place, combining the collection with nostalgic Hong Kong dining references and experiential retail design.

With this release, collectible culture continues to move deeper into the world of interiors, proving that playful design can sit comfortably beside timeless craftsmanship.
