Audemars Piguet Opens an Immersive AP House in Miami Beach

miami

A new 7,300-square-foot space blends Swiss watchmaking heritage with Miami’s cultural energy.

A Retail Concept Built Around Experience

Audemars Piguet has opened its first AP House in Miami Beach, expanding its presence in South Florida beyond its long-standing Bal Harbour boutique. Rather than functioning as a traditional retail store, the AP House concept is designed to feel like a private residence—an environment where clients can engage with the brand in a more personal and relaxed way. The idea stems from imagining how the brand’s founders would host guests today, resulting in a space centered on hospitality, conversation and cultural connection.

Swiss Roots Meet Miami Design

Designed in collaboration with Miami-based Studio DADO, the 7,300-square-foot interior draws from both the brand’s origins in Le Brassus and the atmosphere of Miami Beach. The space features soft, rounded forms and a warm palette of blush tones, layered with natural materials like wood, stone, metal and textured glass. This mix creates a setting that feels refined but not overly formal, balancing Swiss precision with a more laid-back coastal sensibility.

A Space for Watches, Culture and Community

Inside, the AP House goes beyond showcasing timepieces. A curated micro-museum highlights key watches from the brand’s history, while a watchmaker’s area allows for more in-depth interaction with experts. The space also includes a lounge with a vinyl listening corner, reinforcing Audemars Piguet’s connection to music and culture. Contemporary artworks are integrated throughout, and a large outdoor terrace extends the experience beyond the interior, offering a setting for events and informal gatherings.
