Peridot Bar Channels Timeless Futurism in Hong Kong

bar

Soft green plaster, glowing acrylic cylinders, and mirrored finishes create a cinematic, cocoon-like space.

A Cocoon of Light and Form

Peridot Bar, designed by Studio Paolo Ferrari, occupies the 38th floor of The Henderson tower in Central Hong Kong. The bar merges old-world smoking room decadence with futuristic design, enveloping visitors in soft green plastered walls, frosted acrylic cylinders, and reflective surfaces that play with city lights and daylight.

Materiality Meets Emotion

Rich textures define the space: plush mohair seating, high-gloss lacquered furnishings, carved alcoves, and a monumental green marble bar create intimacy and theatricality. Acoustics are crafted to amplify the drama of each cocktail, while mirrored finishes add a sense of temporal flux.

Hidden Details and Private Spaces

A private room features a bespoke stainless steel and marble bottle display, combining engineering with sculptural artistry. Every corner of Peridot reflects Ferrari’s vision of “Natural Futurism,” balancing memory, emotion, and daring innovation.
