A sculptural five-piece range that blurs the line between art and design.
A Bold New Chapter
Henry Holland Studio has unveiled its debut furniture collection, marking a defining evolution for the designer’s handmade ceramics and homeware brand. Presented during the Mount Street Neighbourhood Arts Festival, the five-piece collection introduces sculptural forms and playful graphic elements while maintaining the meticulous craftsmanship that has become the studio’s hallmark. Designed and handmade in the UK, the series includes a coffee table, side table, console, chair, and pouffe—each piece an exploration of texture and form.
Sculptural Forms and Textural Play
The collection pushes the boundaries of Holland’s aesthetic with a palette that fuses patinated bronze, plush mohair, and glazed earthenware. Drawing influence from both Brutalist and Post-Modern movements, the pieces celebrate the poetic irregularities of handcraft. This philosophy of “embracing the wobble” appears in each form, from bent bronze legs and marbled ceramic spheres to pebble-shaped cast feet that defy rigid perfection.
Highlights of the Collection
Standout designs include the Nimbo Coffee Table, featuring hand-forged bronze legs, a patina-finished top, and suspended ceramic spheres, as well as the Cumulus Chair, which pairs bronze construction with mohair upholstery and cast bronze pebble feet. The Stratus Console Table extends the sculptural dialogue with twisted bronze legs and nerikomi ceramic spheres in terracotta and white. Each piece is made-to-order, reinforcing the studio’s dedication to craftsmanship and individuality.
