The expanded site blends advanced conservation technology with a more transparent, client focused approach to fine art logistics.
A Major Expansion for Hong Kong’s Art Ecosystem
Crozier Fine Arts has unveiled a new facility at ATL Logistics Centre A in Kwai Chung, significantly expanding its presence in Hong Kong. The forty seven thousand square foot addition brings the company’s total regional footprint to ninety five thousand square feet, reinforcing the city’s role as a major hub for the global art market. Located just twenty minutes from Hong Kong Island, the site is positioned to serve collectors, institutions, and galleries with increased efficiency and scale.
Design That Makes the Invisible Visible
Designed by Betty Ng of Collective, the facility balances technical rigor with architectural intention. A standout feature is a circular smart glass window that shifts from frosted to transparent, offering visitors a framed glimpse into the storage and handling process. The gesture reflects a broader philosophy of transparency, highlighting the labor and precision behind art logistics. The space also includes flexible lounges and meeting rooms, creating an environment suited for private viewings, events, and confidential discussions.
Museum Level Control and Viewing Conditions
Preservation remains central to the facility’s mission. A specialized Saiver desiccant DX AHU system maintains a strict climate of eighteen to twenty two degrees Celsius and forty five to fifty five percent humidity. Dedicated viewing rooms introduce Hong Kong’s first adjustable Barrisol lighting system, allowing collectors to experience artworks under museum quality color temperatures with a one ton hanging capacity. By combining advanced climate control, security, and adaptable spaces, Crozier positions the new facility as both a state of the art storage site and a forward looking platform for how art is experienced and cared for today.
