The property blends 1960s brutalist architecture with modern, tech-driven interiors.
A Modern Take on Brutalism
Bob W’s first Swedish location at Kammakargatan 5 reimagines a 1965 structure in Stockholm’s Norrmalm district. Designed by Note Design Studio, the apartment hotel features studios with kitchens for short- and extended-stay guests. Interiors merge the building’s original brutalist bones with vibrant, contemporary touches inspired by the city’s urban energy and restaurant scene.
Sustainability Meets Style
Note Design Studio preserved much of the existing building while adding bold, eccentric furnishings and bespoke vintage pieces. Monochromatic corridors lead to colorful suites and common areas, creating a visual dialogue between restraint and liveliness, honoring Stockholm’s architectural heritage while injecting a modern narrative.
Digital Comfort and Local Authenticity
Bob W’s digital-first approach provides a seamless guest experience, combining technology with local design and home-like comfort. Co-founder Niko Karstikko emphasizes the hotel’s attention to detail as a reflection of the city’s creative culture, offering visitors a fully digital, authentic taste of Stockholm’s pulse.
