In Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward, a sprawling new space transforms shopping into a fully immersive cultural environment that blends history, hospitality, and design.
A Landmark Built Into the City
A Ma Maniére has unveiled a massive new flagship in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward, introducing a 23,000-square-foot space that pushes far beyond traditional retail. Located on Edgewood Avenue, the project positions itself as a permanent cultural anchor within one of the city’s most historically significant neighborhoods.
The building’s architecture is intentionally split between eras. One side preserves the character and texture of Edgewood Avenue’s historic identity, while the opposite facade facing Boulevard introduces a more contemporary visual language. The result is a physical dialogue between Atlanta’s past and its evolving future.
Inside the Maison Experience
At the heart of the flagship is the brand’s retail concept, known as “Maison.” Rather than functioning as a conventional store, it is designed as a curated environment where product display, atmosphere, and storytelling operate as one unified experience.
Above this sits the “Living Suites,” a series of hospitality driven spaces named after cultural icons including Morrison, Hurston, Baldwin, Simone, and King. Each suite is designed as an immersive interpretation of luxury living, extending the brand’s aesthetic into fully inhabitable form.
A Total Environment of Culture and Hospitality
The flagship expands further into dedicated zones such as “The Galerie,” a space centered on gathering and cultural exchange, and “The Reserve,” a culinary program that integrates food and beverage into the retail ecosystem.
Across every level, the space prioritizes sensory engagement over transactional retail. Sight, sound, and taste are treated as equal design elements, reinforcing the brand’s shift toward a total-environment flagship model that blends commerce with culture.
