PUMA Studio LA Redefines the Modern Creative Atelier

PUMA

Where raw materials, unfinished ideas, and finished products converge in a space built for creativity.

A Hub for Culture and Creativity

West of West’s design for PUMA Studio Los Angeles establishes a modern atelier that doubles as a cultural platform. The studio integrates showrooms, workspaces, libraries, and a prototyping lab while accommodating hospitality, events, and entertainment. By merging production with culture, the space fosters experimentation and collaboration, allowing ideas to evolve organically.

STUDIO48: Tools for Innovation

At the heart of the studio is STUDIO48, a flexible design workshop equipped with footwear and apparel material libraries, printing capabilities, sewing machines, and moveable pin-up walls. A dedicated, climate-controlled room houses advanced tools including 3D printers, a DTG printer, a laser cutter, and a ventilated spray room. These resources encourage designers, marketers, and cultural collaborators to work side by side, turning the creative process into a dynamic, shared experience.

Design that Connects and Inspires

A sculptural wooden stair serves as the studio’s centerpiece, linking the social event floor with the focused design floor above. Its fluid form encourages interaction and frames views across levels, embodying the studio’s ethos of openness. Complemented by luminous showrooms, polished concrete floors, mirrored panels, and a warm, minimal palette, PUMA Studio LA functions as an office, gallery, runway, and workshop—a versatile environment built for the creative life of Los Angeles.
