Aman Villa in Utah’s Canyon Country

villa

A sprawling desert compound expands Amangiri’s ultra-luxe footprint.

A Private Residence Rooted in the Landscape

Aman has introduced its first Six-Bedroom Villa at Amangiri, extending the resort’s presence deeper into Utah’s Canyon Country. Designed by Marwan Al-Sayed of MASASTUDIO—one of the original architects behind Amangiri—the 12,000-square-foot residence sits across nine acres, built low into the terrain so it feels like a natural extension of the surrounding rock formations. Materials like stone, concrete and wood mirror the desert palette, while oculus skylights and wide glass openings pull in shifting light and uninterrupted views of the sandstone landscape.

Resort-Level Living, Fully Self-Contained

Rather than functioning as a standalone home, the villa operates more like a private resort. It can host up to 18 guests across six suites, supported by a full-service kitchen, dedicated staff quarters and spaces designed around wellness and relaxation. A private spa, fitness room and expansive communal areas reinforce the brand’s focus on retreat-style living, offering the same level of service and comfort found in the main Amangiri property but in a more secluded setting.

Indoor-Outdoor Living at Its Peak

Outside, the design leans fully into the environment. A 118-foot swimming pool stretches along the horizon, accompanied by outdoor dining areas, fire features and shaded lounge spaces. Walled gardens and terraces create a balance between openness and privacy, allowing the architecture to flow seamlessly into the surrounding desert while still offering moments of shelter and intimacy.
