rimowa

The brand celebrated its newest store with special collaborations, curated displays, and a star-studded guest list.

A Celebration of Culture and Design

RIMOWA officially opened its latest flagship on Mercer Street in Soho, drawing some of New York City’s most iconic tastemakers. Attendees included Spike Lee, Carmelo Anthony, Walton Goggins, Chloe Sevigny, Maggie Rogers, and Evan Mock, all coming together to honor the brand’s 127-year heritage.

Curated Collaborations and Special Displays

The event featured curated cases by Spike Lee and Evan Mock, alongside displays inspired by Patti Smith and Martha Stewart. Archival collaborations, including RIMOWA’s past partnerships with Supreme and Rick Owens, were showcased, as well as a late 19th-century steamer trunk and the soon-to-be-released Cocktail Case, staged in a martini speakeasy setting.

Music, Photography, and Interactive Moments

Live music was provided by DJ Paul Sevigny, while portraits were captured by Saturday Night Live photographer Mary Ellen Matthews. Guests also received custom stickers gifted by Spike Lee, creating an immersive experience that blended art, fashion, and the city’s cultural pulse.

Stop by the flagship at 148 Mercer St., New York, NY 10012, to experience the curated displays and collaborations firsthand.
