Kali Hotel: Marriott’s Autograph Collection brings 300 rooms to Inglewood’s sprawling entertainment complex, making it the only on-site lodging in the 300-acre development.
The Kali Hotel, a 300-room property under Marriott’s Autograph Collection banner, has opened within Hollywood Park’s massive 300-acre entertainment district in Inglewood that already houses SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and the Intuit Dome. It’s the first and only hotel physically embedded in the complex itself, which matters more than it might initially sound.
The Autograph Collection positioning is strategic. Marriott’s independent-focused label typically houses design-forward properties with distinctive local flavor, rather than the corporate homogeneity of standard chain hotels. In Inglewood, that translates to a property positioned to capitalize on the area’s growing cultural weight without pretending to be something it isn’t. The location is pure logistics and access: guests can wake up and walk directly to a Chargers or Rams game, a concert, or whatever else pulls crowds to the complex on any given week.
What makes this particular move worth watching is the timing and scale of Hollywood Park itself. This isn’t a hotel next to a stadium. It’s a hotel inside an entire ecosystem that the Rams and Chargers ownership envisioned when they started building out the site years ago. The Kali fills a gap that satellite hotels around the perimeter couldn’t solve: convenience and integration. For event planners, corporate groups, and casual visitors, staying inside the development changes the math entirely. No rideshare queue, no navigation, no separate arrival experience.
Inglewood’s hospitality infrastructure is still catching up to the venue traffic that’s been pouring into the area. The Kali Hotel isn’t a luxury resort or an ultra-premium player. It’s a well-positioned mid-tier option that answers a straightforward question: where do people actually want to stay when they’re coming here? The answer, it turns out, is right there in the middle of it all.
