ZEGNA Introduces the MEMORIE Fragrance Collection Inspired by Personal Legacy

A Fragrance Collection Built on Memory

ZEGNA has launched MEMORIE, a fragrance collection that explores the life and legacy of founder Ermenegildo Zegna through scent. The collection is structured as a six chapter narrative, with each fragrance inspired by a defining moment, place or experience connected to the brand’s history.

Created by master perfumers Dominique Ropion, Fabrice Pellegrin and Quentin Bisch, the fragrances reflect a range of scent families while maintaining a shared storytelling approach rooted in memory and heritage.

Six Scents Inspired by Moments in ZEGNA’s History

Each fragrance in the MEMORIE collection carries its own identity and inspiration. Il Calamaio draws from the symbolism of an inkwell and represents creativity and new beginnings through a rich leathery amber composition.

Il Lanificio references the brand’s textile heritage with warm amber and resinous notes that evoke the atmosphere of ZEGNA’s historic wool mill. A Trivero captures the fresh alpine character of the founder’s hometown with a fougère blend enhanced by floral and myrrh accents.

Il Sottobosco introduces woody spice and earthy tones inspired by the feeling of walking through a forest floor. La Panoramica reflects renewal and nature through green aromatic notes tied to ZEGNA’s large scale reforestation project. The final fragrance, Saga del Piemonte, blends gourmand woods with smoky warmth, recalling family gatherings and fireside moments in the Piedmont region.

Design and Campaign Bring the Story to Life

The bottles reflect the narrative approach of the collection through clean lines and color coding tied to each fragrance. Black represents Il Calamaio, foliage tones represent Il Lanificio, blue marks A Trivero, brown symbolizes Il Sottobosco, green highlights La Panoramica and red represents Saga del Piemonte.

The launch is supported by a cinematic campaign starring actor Mads Mikkelsen. The campaign was written by Roman Coppola and directed by Boramy Viguier, further reinforcing the storytelling theme behind the MEMORIE collection. The fragrances are now available through ZEGNA boutiques and the brand’s online store, retailing at 349 USD for a 100 milliliter bottle.
