Overview
The fifth edition of XP Music Futures, the premier music conference in the MENA region, is set to take place this December at the JAX District creative hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Curated by the MDLBEAST Foundation, the event continues its focus on talent, scene, impact, and innovation, bringing together regional and international artists, music professionals, and tech brands.
Programming Highlights
- Panel Talks & Workshops: Featuring speakers such as Tam Tam (GoastFlower), WEGZ (Egyptian rapper and AWAL label owner), Shadi Megallaa (record store owner), and Palestinian singer-songwriter Zeyne, among others.
- DemoLab & Tech Activations: Attendees can explore the latest in production equipment and audio gear. Tech pop-ups include Fujifilm, YouTube, and an earplug testing station by Hearful and Arabtone.
- Institutional & Industry Sessions: Partnerships with Saudi Music Commission, Anghami, and Moja will provide roundtables and mentorship programs exploring public-private collaboration to accelerate artist development.
- XP NITE & Performances: Evening programming transforms the venue into an entertainment space featuring headline acts Sama’ Abdulhadi, Bab L’ Bluz, and Moontalk.
- XP Market: Attendees can shop for merchandise from independent brands while enjoying the performances.
