WIND AND SEA Reunites With NBA and PaRappa the Rapper

nba

A second three-way collaboration brings basketball heritage and gaming nostalgia together in a colorful lineup of apparel and accessories.

Celebrating the Court and Console

WIND AND SEA has teamed up once again with the NBA and the beloved rhythm-action game PaRappa the Rapper. This second collaboration highlights four legendary basketball teams from the 1990s—the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Lakers—under the playful theme “BEAT ON THE COURT.” The capsule builds on the excitement of their first drop, fusing cultural icons from both sports and gaming.

Rodney Greenblat’s Playful Touch

The collection showcases original artwork by PaRappa the Rapper’s creator, Rodney Greenblat. His whimsical illustrations transform hoodies, jerseys, and track jackets into canvases where PaRappa and friends are seen dribbling, dunking, and striking animated poses. The result is a vibrant mash-up of NBA team colors with the quirky charm of the game’s characters, making each piece feel both nostalgic and fresh.

Apparel and Accessories for Fans

Rounding out the release are T-shirts, sweatshirts, track pants, beanies, and tote bags that blend sports heritage with contemporary streetwear silhouettes. Prices range from ¥3,300 to ¥35,200 JPY (approximately $22 to $238 USD). The collection officially drops on August 30, available through WIND AND SEA’s channels, offering fans a chance to own a piece that bridges basketball legacy with gaming culture.
