Raised embroidery and stripped back styling define the latest collaboration between two brands known for timeless identity pieces.
A Clean Drop Built on Classic Cap Shapes
WACKO MARIA and New Era have teamed up once again for Spring Summer 2026, introducing a focused capsule built around two of New Era’s most recognizable silhouettes. The release includes the 59FIFTY fitted cap and the 9FORTY adjustable model, each reworked through WACKO MARIA’s sharp visual language.
Rather than overcomplicate the design, the collection leans into minimalism, using strong typography and subtle construction details to create impact.
Heavy Embroidery Takes Center Stage
The defining feature across both caps is the oversized Old English lettering placed prominently on the front panels. Executed in raised embroidery, the branding creates a textured three dimensional finish that stands out against the clean body of each hat.
This approach gives the collection a bold attitude while maintaining a refined look, allowing the craftsmanship of the stitching to become the main statement.
Two Fits, One Unified Aesthetic
The 59FIFTY arrives as the structured high crown fitted option, featuring the silhouette’s signature flat brim and firm six panel construction. The 9FORTY offers a more casual alternative with a curved visor and adjustable rear closure for easier everyday wear.
Both styles release in monochromatic black and blue colorways, with the New Era side flag completing the understated presentation.
The WACKO MARIA x New Era SS26 collection launches May 2 through the WACKO MARIA webstore.
