The newest, smallest off-roader in the legendary lineup.
Rugged Design Meets Retro Inspiration
Toyota has revealed the Land Cruiser FJ, a compact off-road SUV set to join the family in mid-2026. The FJ channels the classic Land Cruiser spirit with a boxy, retro-inspired silhouette, short overhangs, and optional round or rectangular headlights. Its standout feature: removable front and rear bumpers, making trail repairs simple and cost-effective.
Built for Adventure
The FJ is constructed on a refined IMV ladder-frame platform, engineered for serious off-road performance. With wheel articulation rivaling the Land Cruiser 70 Series and a tight 5.5-meter turning radius, it’s ready for rugged terrain.
Practical Yet Modern Interior
Inside, the cabin is utilitarian but thoughtfully equipped, featuring a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment display, striking a balance between adventure-ready functionality and modern comfort.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the FJ packs a 2.7-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 161 horsepower, paired with a part-time four-wheel-drive system. The Land Cruiser FJ made its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and will see a global rollout in mid-2026.
