A velour update transforms an athletic staple into a refined expression of urban elegance.

A Classic Silhouette Reworked

For Spring Summer twenty twenty six, JOURNAL STANDARD and NEEDLES continue their long running collaboration with a new take on the iconic NEEDLES track pant. The familiar sportswear silhouette is reimagined through premium materials and subtle detailing, shifting its identity from casual essential to elevated everyday wear.

Velour as the Defining Element

The centerpiece of the collaboration is the use of C PE velour, a cotton polyester blend chosen for its smooth texture and graceful drape. The fabric carries a soft sheen that adds depth and richness, giving the pants a sense of quiet luxury. Available in black, brown, and red, the design features recolored Papillon embroidery and signature side stripes that reflect a more modern, city focused mood while staying true to NEEDLES’ visual language.

Designed for Versatile Styling

Cut in a regular fit, the track pants offer a streamlined profile that moves easily between relaxed and polished looks. The silhouette avoids excess volume, making it equally suited to technical sneakers or leather shoes. With this release, JOURNAL STANDARD and NEEDLES demonstrate how thoughtful material choice and proportion can turn a familiar form into a statement of casual sophistication.
