Toyota reveals its most advanced road-legal and race-spec supercars to date.
Twin Flagship Models
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing has introduced the GR GT and the GR GT3, carrying forward the legacy of iconic vehicles like the Lexus LFA. Both models feature a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering over 650 PS and more than 850 Nm of torque. The GR GT debuts Toyota’s first all-aluminum body frame, providing high rigidity, light weight, and a 45:55 front-to-rear balance.
Development Philosophy
Under Master Driver Akio Toyoda (Morizo), engineers and professional drivers collaborated on a “one-team approach” to optimize low weight, low center of gravity, and aerodynamic performance. This philosophy ensures that both models embody Toyota’s motorsport expertise while pushing innovation forward.
Road-Legal and Race-Ready
The GR GT is a road-legal supercar designed with racing DNA, while the GR GT3 is engineered for competitive customer motorsports. Both cars represent a transfer of skills from veteran engineers to the next generation, ensuring Toyota’s performance legacy continues. The flagships are expected to launch around 2027.
