The Aston Martin Vantage S is back—and it’s meaner, faster, and more focused than ever.
While the last Vantage S came with a manual gearbox and a larger engine, this new version trades tradition for serious performance gains. Powered by a Mercedes-AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, the 2026 Vantage S now delivers a massive 670 horsepower—14 more than the standard Vantage.
More Power, Sharper Handling
Alongside the power boost, Aston Martin has fine-tuned the chassis and sharpened throttle response. According to the brand, these changes—along with recalibrated launch control—will shave about a tenth of a second off the 0–60 mph sprint, bringing the Vantage S down to a rapid 3.3 seconds.
That said, real-world testing has already seen the current Vantage hit 0–60 mph in just 3.2 seconds—so it’s safe to say the new S model will be even quicker than the official numbers suggest.
Engineered for Driving Purists
Aston Martin didn’t stop at just adding power. The engineers also reworked the throttle feel, suspension, and chassis to deliver a more visceral driving experience. The transmission now sits on softer mounts for better balance, while suspension tweaks—including fresh camber, toe, and caster settings—promise sharper handling, especially in corners.
Another key change? The rear subframe is now bolted directly to the body, ditching the rubber bushings of the standard model for a tighter, more connected feel on the road.
Subtle but Purposeful Design Tweaks
Visually, the Vantage S gets its own unique flair. Carbon-fiber vents on the hood help cool the engine bay, while a bold full-width rear spoiler amps up the aggression—and adds extra downforce. Handmade “S” badges on the front fenders complete the look, marking this car as something special.
When Can You Get One?
The 2026 Vantage S will make its official debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week. Orders are open now, with deliveries expected to begin in late 2025.
