Systemarosa’s DAUGHTERS Highlights Women’s Football Culture

daughter

A pop-up exhibition in Paris brings together artists exploring the growing visibility of women in football.

The Exhibition

Systemarosa presents DAUGHTERS at Galerie Joseph in Paris, a group show that reflects on the evolving culture of women’s football. The exhibition brings together seven European artists: Alina Akbar, Alessandra Francesca Coppola, Clara Borde De Castro, Emmely Elgersma, Emily Bisgaard, Nicole Chui and Ruth Emma Davis.

Artistic Perspectives

Each artist explores football through lenses like memory, humor and material experimentation. Their works capture how women are increasingly seeing themselves represented in the sport, blending personal narratives with broader cultural reflections.

Curatorial Vision

Curated by Naomi Accardi and Sam Herzog, founders of Systemarosa, DAUGHTERS aims to reframe the history and cultural significance of women’s football. The curators describe the show as a space for conversation between artists and fans, where visitors can recognize themselves in the stories and perspectives on display.
