The 18 piece capsule transforms the anime’s characters and powers into wearable fashion.

Anime Inspired Design Meets Everyday Fashion

Subtitle has released an official Jujutsu Kaisen apparel collection in partnership with TOHO, introducing an 18 piece capsule that reinterprets elements from the popular anime series. Instead of approaching the project as typical merchandise, the brand treats the source material as a design language, translating characters and themes into everyday clothing.

The collection draws from the series’ cursed techniques, characters and story elements. Alongside graphic pieces, the lineup also includes uniform inspired garments made from wool blend fabrics that reference the Japanese school attire seen throughout the show.

Character Driven Pieces With Unique Details

Several standout pieces reinterpret iconic characters through thoughtful design elements. Yuji’s Red Hood Shirt is a tailored red hooded dress shirt inspired by Yuji Itadori’s recognizable hoodie.

Another highlight is the Black Flash T shirt, which features red stitching that references Yuji’s explosive cursed energy technique. The Mahito Transfigured Jacket includes detachable sleeves that physically transform, reflecting the character’s ability to reshape souls.

The Geto Zip Sweatshirt incorporates distressed textures to represent his cursed spirit manipulation. Additional pieces include a Uniform Jacket, Uniform Pants and a Uniform Skort, all designed with subtle details that reference the series while maintaining a refined look.

A Collaboration Born From Anime Critique

Subtitle was founded by designer Liang Shi, whose viral critiques of traditional anime merchandise helped spark interest from TOHO International. That conversation eventually led to the collaboration, which focuses on craftsmanship and research driven design rather than simple branding.

The Jujutsu Kaisen capsule officially launched on March 16 with prices ranging from 65 to 220 USD. The collection is available through the TOHO Animation Store in the United States as well as Subtitle’s official sales channels.
