The West Coast rap icon is bringing his signature style to one of Australia’s biggest sporting stages.
Snoop Takes Over the MCG
Snoop Dogg will headline this year’s AFL Grand Final on Saturday, September 27, at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Performing in front of 100,000 fans and millions of viewers at home, his set is expected to be one of the most talked-about in the event’s history. AFL CEO Andrew Dillon called Snoop “a pioneer, a performer, and a true entertainer,” adding that this year’s Grand Final “just got a whole lot bigger.”
A Stage for Global Superstars
Often compared to the NFL’s Super Bowl, the AFL Grand Final combines top-tier sport with world-class entertainment. Over the years, acts like Ed Sheeran, The Killers, KISS, and Katy Perry have taken the stage. Now Snoop joins that list, bringing decades of hits and undeniable presence to the Australian sporting calendar’s biggest day.
Snoop’s Promise to the Fans
“It’s an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final,” Snoop said. “Can’t wait to bring the energy and celebrate with the fans. Let’s make it unforgettable.” Additional performers are still to be announced, but the 2025 Grand Final is already shaping up to be a landmark mix of sport, culture, and music.
