An ultra-exclusive vision of coachbuilt luxury begins a new chapter.
A New Era of Coachbuild
Rolls-Royce has unveiled its new Coachbuild Collection, kicking things off with “Project Nightingale.” The program pushes customization further than ever, offering select clients the chance to create deeply personalized vehicles. As the first example, Nightingale sets the tone with a design that feels both futuristic and rooted in classic luxury.
Art Deco Meets Electric Design
Built on Rolls-Royce’s Architecture of Luxury platform and designed with electrification in mind, the two-seat drop-top leans into 1940s Streamline Moderne influences. Its monolithic form avoids traditional vents, favoring smooth, uninterrupted surfaces, while a massive stainless steel Pantheon grille anchors the front. Carbon fiber elements and 24-inch directional wheels give it a bold stance, even as it maintains Phantom-like proportions.
Crafted for the Few
Inside, the “Starlight Breeze” feature stands out, using over 10,000 tiny lights to visualize the soundwaves of a nightingale’s song across the cabin ceiling. Details like the sculptural “Piano Boot” continue the theme of elegance and fluid design. Limited to just 100 units, Project Nightingale is available by invitation only, with deliveries expected to begin in 2028.
