Ralph Lauren Introduces “Ask Ralph” AI Stylist Bot

You’ve met the bear, now it’s time to meet the bot.

A New Kind of Stylist

Ralph Lauren has launched “Ask Ralph,” a conversational AI chatbot built on Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI platform. Rolling out in the U.S. on the Ralph Lauren app, the tool can answer prompts like “What should I wear to a concert?” or “How can I style my navy-blue men’s blazer?” with curated outfit suggestions and personalized styling tips.

Merging Tech and Tradition

The bot expands on Ralph Lauren’s legacy of innovation — 25 years after partnering with Microsoft on early e-commerce. David Lauren, Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, called Ask Ralph “more than just discovery,” framing it as an extension of the brand’s signature take on timeless, head-to-toe style.

What’s Next

Ask Ralph is set to evolve with new features, expansion to Ralph Lauren’s sibling labels and global rollout plans. As AI becomes more ingrained in everyday life, the question remains whether heritage fashion houses can translate their brand DNA into the language of bots.
