Porsche Pays Tribute To British Heritage With The 911 Gt3 Earls Court 51

porsche

Inspired by the first Porsche models delivered to the UK in 1951, the limited edition 911 GT3 celebrates 75 years of the marque’s British history.

A Special Edition Rooted In History

Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 Earls Court 51 Edition to mark 75 years of operations in the United Kingdom. Limited to just 51 examples, the exclusive model draws inspiration from the first Porsche 356s imported to Britain in 1951. Built through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch customization program, the anniversary model carries a starting price of £251,951 and celebrates the brand’s long standing relationship with the UK market.

Based on the wingless GT3 Touring, the car arrives in a bespoke Earls Court Green metallic finish developed through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus program. Brilliant Silver accents appear across the mirrors, door handles, and center hood stripe, while diamond cut wheels feature matching green inserts. Unique graphics and commemorative details throughout the exterior further distinguish the limited run model.

Bespoke Luxury Throughout The Cabin

Inside, the cabin combines Paldao Green and Chalk Beige leather with custom corduroy seat inserts. Green leather seat backs are paired with elegant wood trim, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. Historic nods continue with embossed Union Jack motifs on the sun visors and exclusive doorsill branding that highlights the car’s rarity.

Every detail reflects the craftsmanship of Porsche’s Sonderwunsch division, blending heritage inspired elements with the modern GT3’s driver focused layout. The interior balances luxury and nostalgia while maintaining the focused character expected from Porsche’s most celebrated sports car.

Pure Performance Remains Untouched

Under the hood, the Earls Court 51 Edition retains the standard GT3’s naturally aspirated 4.0 liter flat six engine, producing 503 horsepower and 332 lb ft of torque. Buyers can choose between a six speed manual transmission or Porsche’s seven speed dual clutch gearbox.

Rather than introducing new technology or altering the car’s formula, Porsche has chosen to celebrate its milestone with a purist approach. The 911 GT3 Earls Court 51 stands as a tribute to classic motoring heritage, honoring the company’s first steps in Britain while preserving the analog driving experience that continues to define the GT3.
