A Tribute to 25 Years of Fast and Furious

The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles has announced a new exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Fast and Furious franchise. Titled A Fast and Furious Legacy 25 Years of Automotive Icons, the exhibit honors the global cultural impact the films have had on car culture and the automotive community.

Created in collaboration with Universal Pictures, the exhibition will take over two of the museum’s major spaces, the Propulsion Gallery and the Ross and Beth Myers Galleries. Together, the spaces will showcase an extensive collection of authentic vehicles used throughout the film series.

Legendary Movie Cars on Display

For the first time, fans will be able to see a wide range of screen used hero cars, stunt vehicles and production prototypes displayed in one place. Among the most recognizable vehicles featured is Paul Walker’s 1993 Toyota Supra used by the character Brian O’Conner.

Other standout cars include the bright green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse that introduced audiences to NOS and underglow culture in the original 2001 film. Vin Diesel’s iconic 1968 Dodge Charger R T will also be on display alongside other memorable vehicles such as the 1993 Mazda RX 7, Michelle Rodriguez’s 1997 Nissan 240SX and the pink 2001 Honda S2000 driven by Suki in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

An Inside Look at the Franchise’s Automotive Legacy

According to Petersen Automotive Museum executive director Terry L. Karges, the exhibition has been years in development and represents a major moment for the museum. Visitors will have the chance to experience the cars that helped shape the identity and influence of the franchise over the past two decades.

A Fast and Furious Legacy 25 Years of Automotive Icons opens on March 14, 2026 with a special car show event and will remain on view through April 2027.
