Palm Tree Festival Heads to Napa Valley This Fall

Palm Tree Festival

Kygo’s signature festival brings its first California wine country edition to The Meritage Resort & Spa this October.

A New Destination for Palm Tree Festival

The Palm Tree Festival is expanding to Napa Valley for the first time, with the event set for Oct. 11 at The Meritage Resort & Spa, a luxury destination surrounded by vineyards in the heart of wine country. Headliners for this new edition include Kygo and The Chainsmokers, both festival regulars, along with Odd Mob, Vandelux, Mia Moretti, and Goshfather. The event is presented by Palm Tree Crew in partnership with Another Planet Entertainment and Blue Note Napa.

From the Hamptons to California

Palm Tree Festival has built its reputation by hosting shows in luxury destinations around the globe, including previous editions in the Hamptons and Aspen. This year, the brand is expanding even further with upcoming stops in St. Tropez, France, on July 26 featuring A$AP Rocky and Swedish House Mafia, Sardinia on Aug. 9 with Rampa, Dom Dolla, and Carlita, and Montecito, Calif., on Oct. 4 featuring John Mayer, Kygo, and Sofi Tukker.

Building a Lifestyle Brand

Palm Tree Crew, founded by Kygo and his manager Myles Shear, has evolved into more than just a music festival series. The duo envisions a full-scale lifestyle brand that includes events, resorts, restaurants, and more, inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville empire. “He created so many areas where [his fans] can come together — it doesn’t even need to be at his shows. It can be at his hotel or a Margaritaville bar,” Kygo told Billboard in 2022. “That’s what we’re trying to create: something that’s bigger than the music. A community, a movement.”
