The North Face and Copenhagen designer Cecilie Bahnsen are back for a third act, and this time they’re shedding the down-jacket minimalism. Chapter Three arrives as a curated edit of summer silhouettes, cropped vests, technical tank tops, and cinched-waist pieces that read haute couture in construction but move like performance wear. The color palette skews soft and earthen, with pale sage, cream, and sand tones replacing the utilitarian blacks and grays of earlier drops.
Bahnsen’s signature sculptural draping and ruching translate into functional details here. A cropped shell features interior boning that creates architectural folds when zipped open, turning the piece into a reversible moment. Cargo pants arrive with exaggerated curved seaming and high waistbands, impractical by outdoor-hardened standards, but entirely on-brand for a designer whose work straddles gallery-ready garment craft and street credibility. Every piece is built from North Face’s technical fabrics: ripstop nylon, stretch mesh, and weatherproof synthetics that don’t sacrifice the romantic sensibility Bahnsen brought to the partnership from day one.
