Mizuno Introduces a Japan Exclusive Wave Prophecy LS in Grey

mizuno

A muted palette with a flash of neon refreshes the futuristic runner for a localized release.

A Subtle Colorway With Energy

Mizuno is set to release a Japan exclusive Grey colorway of the WAVE PROPHECY LS, leaning into a restrained grayscale palette accented with vibrant detail. The upper combines grey blue mesh with metallic silver overlays across faux leather panels, creating a clean and technical look that emphasizes the model’s layered construction. Neon yellow accents appear at the heel and outline the RunBird logo, injecting contrast and movement into the otherwise subdued scheme.

Technical Construction and Comfort

The sneaker features a padded mesh tongue with tonal branding and flat laces that maintain a streamlined profile. Reinforced stitching and structured paneling support durability and lockdown, ensuring the shoe performs as confidently as it looks. The design balances visual precision with everyday wearability, staying true to Mizuno’s performance roots.

Infinity Wave Cushioning Underfoot

Underneath, the WAVE PROPHECY LS is powered by Mizuno’s Infinity Wave midsole, engineered for responsive cushioning and smooth heel to toe transitions. The sculpted sole unit arrives in metallic gray with yellow highlights, reinforcing stability and controlled motion. The Japan exclusive Mizuno WAVE PROPHECY LS Grey is scheduled to release on February one through Mizuno.
