The flagship sedan returns with refined power, expanded customization and a fully immersive digital cabin.

A Balance of Tradition and Modern Power

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the 2027 Maybach S Class, continuing its legacy as the brand’s most luxurious sedan while introducing key performance upgrades. The S680 retains its iconic V12 engine, delivering 621 horsepower and maintaining the smooth, effortless power expected at this level.

Alongside it, the S580 introduces a new mild hybrid V8 setup, producing 530 horsepower while improving efficiency and responsiveness. Together, the lineup reflects a balance between heritage performance and modern engineering.

A More Distinctive Exterior Presence

The updated design brings a stronger visual identity to the Maybach S Class. A larger illuminated grille with a backlit wordmark takes center stage, complemented by refined details like rose gold accents within the headlights.

New wheel designs add another layer of sophistication, including options that keep the Mercedes emblem upright while driving. The available Night Series package introduces a darker, more dramatic look, featuring repeated Maybach motifs and a more aggressive aesthetic.

A Cabin Built Around Technology and Comfort

Inside, the Maybach experience becomes even more immersive with the introduction of the MBUX Superscreen as standard. Stretching across the dashboard, the system integrates multiple displays into a seamless digital interface powered by the latest software architecture.

Rear passengers are treated to enhanced comfort with dedicated entertainment screens and refined seating features. Details extend to elements like custom cupholders designed specifically for luxury accessories, reinforcing the focus on experience.

Personalization at an Unprecedented Level

Mercedes-Benz expands its Made to Measure program, offering hundreds of interior and exterior combinations. From unique paint finishes to tailored cabin materials, the new Maybach allows owners to create a highly individualized vehicle.

Set to arrive in the United States in the second half of 2026, the 2027 Maybach S Class continues to define what modern automotive luxury looks like, blending performance, design and personalization into a single flagship experience.
