Where automotive sophistication meets the ultimate seafaring escape.
Luxury Reimagined at Sea
Mercedes-Benz Design is taking its hallmark of precision and luxury from roads to oceans with the announcement of the Maybach Ocean Club. Conceptualized aboard a superyacht named Beyond Horizons, the project offers a members-only floating enclave that channels the grandeur and elegance of 1920s ocean liners.
Inspired by Maybach’s historical connection to marine propulsion, the design translates automotive refinement into over 50,000 square feet of deck space and lavish staterooms. Every detail reflects Maybach’s aesthetic—sleek lines, emblematic branding, and indulgent interiors—crafted to deliver an experience that rivals the finest land-based luxury properties.
Turnkey Prestige Without Ownership Burden
Managed by Michael Hehn, the Ocean Club introduces a membership model that provides the prestige of superyacht access without the logistical complexity of ownership. Members can enjoy curated itineraries, fine dining, and opulent accommodations while roaming the globe, free from maintenance responsibilities.
Developed in collaboration with German naval architects Dölker + Voges, the Beyond Horizons concept merges high-end design with practical seafaring innovation. The interiors are designed to feel perpetually new, offering a sanctuary that blends privacy, social space, and sophistication, making the club a floating equivalent of elite real estate in cities like Miami or Dubai.
The Maybach Ocean Club is still in the conceptual phase, but it signals Mercedes-Benz Design’s bold expansion into experiential luxury, promising a globe-trotting retreat for those seeking an extraordinary blend of comfort, style, and exclusivity.
