A limited-run supercar marking McLaren’s 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix start.
A Monaco Debut Built for a Landmark Moment
McLaren has unveiled the Artura 1000GP through its Special Operations division to celebrate its 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix entry. Debuting in Monaco, the commemorative model is strictly limited to just ten units worldwide, positioning it as one of the rarest modern McLaren builds.
Race-Inspired Design Language
The Artura 1000GP draws direct inspiration from the MCL40 Formula 1 car, wearing a bold papaya-on-black livery with aggressive orange accents across the body. Track-focused details like custom pinstriping and “1000GP” branding emphasize its motorsport heritage, while the visual identity reinforces its connection to McLaren’s current racing era.
Hybrid Performance With Track DNA
Under the surface, the car retains the Artura’s 690 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain, capable of a 0–62 mph sprint in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. A 7.4 kWh battery allows for around 21 miles of electric-only driving, balancing performance with efficiency while keeping the car firmly rooted in McLaren’s modern hybrid philosophy.
