The co-branded collectible arrives nationwide this April.

A Limited GR GT3 Mini Release

McDonald’s Japan is teaming up with Toyota Gazoo Racing to launch a special Happy Meal toy featuring a diecast version of the GR GT3. Produced by Tomica, the collectible showcases the sleek race car design with dual GR and McDonald’s branding, making it a unique crossover between fast food and motorsport culture.

Nationwide Drop With Multiple Designs

The campaign kicks off April 10 across all McDonald’s Japan locations. Alongside the GR GT3, the lineup includes additional playful designs like a Nissan Skyline patrol car and a Toyota TownAce hamburger car. The toys are part of a broader rollout that blends recognizable vehicles with imaginative twists.

Phase Two and a Secret Chase

A second wave arrives on April 24, introducing four more vehicles and a hidden “chase” model. While details remain under wraps, early hints suggest another GR GT3 variant with exclusive colors or decals. The campaign also includes a GR GT3 wrapping design contest, inviting fans to submit custom concepts for a chance at special prizes.
