A New Limited-Edition Vinyl Release
Sabrina Carpenter is keeping the surprises coming. Following the buzz around her Man’s Best Friend album cover, the pop star just dropped a brand-new alternate artwork — available only for a limited time.
On July 8, Carpenter revealed the new cover on Instagram, announcing that it’s tied to a special edition dusty rose vinyl, now available for pre-order exclusively on her website.
The alternate artwork shows Carpenter lounging in lingerie, surrounded by lavish floral bouquets in a chic room, holding a card marked with the initials “M.B.F.” — a clear nod to the album’s title.
The Original Cover Sparked Heated Debate
The new release comes just weeks after Carpenter made headlines with the album’s original cover, which featured her on all fours as a man gripped her hair.
The provocative image went viral quickly, with fans and critics sharply divided—some praised it as bold and empowering, while others slammed it as offensive and outdated.
In response, Carpenter playfully debuted a secondary cover, showing her in black and white, channeling vintage Hollywood glamour as she leaned on a suited male companion. She joked that this version was “approved by God.”
A New Era Begins for Sabrina Carpenter
Man’s Best Friend is set to release this August, nearly one year after her blockbuster album Short n’ Sweet, which topped the Billboard 200 for four weeks.
So far, only one song from the upcoming album has been released—“Manchild”—which dropped in June and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Carpenter her second chart-topping single.
Fans eager to snag the exclusive vinyl will need to act fast—it won’t be available for long.
