Lamborghini Revuelto SV Surfaces at Pebble Beach, Super Veloce Nameplate Returns

Lamborghini Revuelto SV

The hardest V12 hybrid Lambo yet hit Hockenheim’s track before its Monterey debut.

The Super Veloce badge is back, and it’s wearing a hybrid. Lamborghini unveiled the Revuelto SV at Pebble Beach this week, a widened, sharpened iteration of its V12 hybrid flagship that had already lapped Hockenheim before the car show crowds arrived. The nameplate carries serious weight in Sant’Agata’s catalog, dragged from the vault after nearly a decade. SV typically means one thing: track-focused aggression, carbon fiber everywhere, and a performance margin that separates the serious from the Sunday drivers.

The Revuelto SV is built on the bones of the standard Revuelto, that 1,001-horsepower grand touring hybrid that landed in 2023 as Lamborghini’s answer to a future without pure combustion engines. But this version swings harder. The car carries sharper aerodynamic surgery, a lowered stance, and the kind of suspension tuning that makes sense only on a circuit. Testing at Hockenheim provided the real proof of concept, a place where laptimes don’t lie and fuel consumption becomes a secondary concern.

The presence at Pebble Beach matters tactically. Monterey Car Week has become the unofficial proving ground for limited-run hypercars and SV variants, where collectors already know the entry price will have another zero by the time orders close. Lamborghini reserved the reveal for this circuit rather than a traditional motor show, a clear signal that this car exists for a specific audience: those who drive hard and buy harder. The SV nameplate carries that expectation. Expectations that, based on Hockenheim’s evidence, this hybrid engine is finally ready to deliver.
