Built to move naturally while making sustainability part of the structure, not an afterthought.
A Fully Circular Take on the UNEEK Concept
KEEN expands its UNEEK family with the introduction of the UNEEK 360, a silhouette designed around the brand’s Detox the Planet initiative. The new model rethinks how footwear is made and unmade, using a completely adhesive free construction that allows the shoe to be taken apart and recycled at the end of its life. This approach positions sustainability as a core design principle rather than an added feature.
Materials Engineered for Movement and Reuse
At the upper, recycled P E T materials are woven into a breathable knit and secured with KEEN’s signature movable cord system, allowing the shoe to adapt to the foot’s natural motion. Instead of glue, all components are mechanically locked together, making it possible to separate the EVA cushioning sole from the upper for proper recycling. The result is a shoe that balances comfort, flexibility and responsible material use without compromising performance.
A Cleaner Look With Purpose Driven Colorways
Visually, the UNEEK 360 stays rooted in the line’s gorpcore DNA while refining it into a more technical and streamlined profile. Launch colorways include Black Magnet and Vapor Star White, with a Birch Roasted Pecan edition following later in the season. Releasing February 14 and March 25 respectively, the UNEEK 360 reinforces KEEN’s message that forward thinking design can reduce environmental impact while still fitting seamlessly into everyday wear.
