Jerry Seinfeld’s RUF-Modified 1971 Porsche 911S Hits the Auction Block

Porsche

The comedian’s meticulously tuned classic is already fetching over $500,000 ahead of the closing date.

Classic Styling Meets RUF Performance

Jerry Seinfeld’s 1971 Porsche 911S Coupe, modified by legendary German tuner RUF, combines timeless design with modern engineering excellence. Finished in Gemini Blue Metallic, the coupe retains its iconic long-hood silhouette while incorporating substantial performance upgrades that elevate it beyond a standard classic.

Bespoke Engineering

Acquired by Seinfeld in 2008, the 911S was sent to RUF for a three-year rebuild. The modifications include a RUF-built 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing 340 horsepower, a custom six-speed manual gearbox, reinforced chassis, Bilstein suspension, and 930 Turbo brakes. Inside, the cabin features black leather with classic Pepita cloth inserts, blending heritage styling with modern comfort.

Auction and Collector Appeal

Currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer, bids have already surpassed $500,000 USD ahead of the October 16 closing. This RUF-modified 911S not only showcases Seinfeld’s passion for Porsche but also exemplifies the high value placed on celebrity provenance and bespoke engineering, making it a true collector’s dream.
