The second Armani Archivio chapter merges timeless tailoring with a fresh creative perspective from Eli Russell Linnetz.
A New Vision for Historic Armani Design
Giorgio Armani has revealed the second installment of Armani Archivio, an ongoing project dedicated to preserving and reintroducing the house’s most influential designs. For this chapter, Armani enlisted Eli Russell Linnetz to photograph and style the campaign, bringing a modern California influenced lens to the Italian brand’s heritage.
Launched during Milan Design Week 2026, the project continues Armani’s effort to connect past craftsmanship with present day culture.
Thirteen Looks Recreated From the Archive
The collection features faithful reproductions of thirteen menswear and womenswear looks originally released between 1979 and 1994. These garments reflect key moments in Armani’s evolution, highlighting the clean tailoring, effortless structure, and understated elegance that helped redefine luxury fashion.
Through Linnetz’s creative direction, the pieces are presented with renewed energy while maintaining the integrity of the original designs.
Beyond Fashion With Special Activations
Alongside the collection launch, Giorgio Armani is hosting a series of events and activations at its Via Sant’Andrea boutique. Programming includes talks focused on archiving and design history, workshops, DJ sets, and exclusive in store experiences.
The reproduced archive looks are available now online and at select Giorgio Armani boutiques.
