Designed in Tokyo and brought to life in Los Angeles, this collaboration turns culinary culture into wearable form.
A Cross Cultural Drop Rooted in Noma’s LA Residency
FRAGMENT has officially teamed up with Noma Projects for a tightly curated capsule that blends streetwear sensibility with high end culinary culture.
The collaboration arrives in celebration of Noma’s Los Angeles residency, translating the experimental spirit of the world renowned kitchen into a series of wearable pieces. Designed in Tokyo and produced in LA, the drop reflects a true cross cultural exchange between fashion and food.
Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Minimalism Meets Noma’s Nature Driven Identity
At the center of the collaboration is Hiroshi Fujiwara, whose signature minimalist approach defines FRAGMENT’s visual language. That restraint is paired with Noma Projects’ organic, nature inspired graphics, resulting in a collection that feels both understated and conceptually rich.
The lineup includes hoodies, long sleeve tees, tote bags, and caps, each piece balancing clean streetwear silhouettes with subtle references to ingredients, agriculture, and the culinary process.
Functional Design for Everyday and Culinary Use
Beyond aesthetics, functionality plays a key role in the collection. A standout piece is the FRAGMENT x Noma Projects Farmers Market Bag, crafted from 100 percent cotton and engineered with eight interior compartments designed to organize produce and specialty items.
Other highlights include a black hoodie previewed by Fujiwara himself, alongside graphic driven essentials that translate seamlessly from kitchen culture to everyday wear.
Limited Availability With Pre Orders Now Open
The capsule is being released as a limited pre order collection through Noma Projects’ official platform, with pricing ranging from $120 to $250 USD. Availability is directly tied to the duration of the LA residency, reinforcing the exclusivity of the collaboration.
By merging two seemingly distant worlds, FRAGMENT and Noma Projects deliver a concept driven collection that reflects the growing intersection between food, design, and global street culture.
