Chevrolet Unveils 2,000-HP Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo

Chevrolet takes its racing legacy into the digital era with an electrified, high-performance concept.

Extreme Design and Performance

Debuting at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, the Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo concept pushes the boundaries of aerodynamics and speed. With a lowered stance, aggressive aero package, and bold yellow-and-black livery, it pays homage to Corvette Racing’s GT endurance cars while embracing futuristic design cues. The stripped-down interior features carbon fiber surfaces and heavily bolstered racing seats for extreme G-force resilience.

Hybrid Powertrain Brings Insane Numbers

Under the hood, a mid-mounted 2L twin-turbo V8 producing 900 hp works alongside three electric motors for a combined 2,000 hp. The V8 runs on renewable e-fuel and revs to 15,000 rpm, while the electric motors provide instant torque, all-wheel drive, and precision torque vectoring for mind-blowing acceleration.

Virtual Playground

Though not intended for production, the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo will be available in Gran Turismo 7 later this month, giving players a chance to experience Chevrolet’s electrified racing vision from the comfort of their own screens.
