Carhartt WIP Celebrates Five Decades of the OG Active Jacket With Special Anniversary Collection

The iconic 1975 silhouette gets a modern reinterpretation in four reversible designs.

Honoring a Workwear Classic

Carhartt WIP marks 50 years of the OG Active Jacket with a special anniversary edition. Originally introduced in 1975, the Active Jacket has evolved from a practical workwear staple into a cultural icon, embraced by music, skateboarding, cinema, and subculture communities worldwide.

Four Reversible Designs

The anniversary collection includes two canvas versions, a denim iteration, and a leather edition, each fully reversible and detailed with a commemorative Square Label. Canvas options feature a bold red reverse or a Hamilton Brown with a new “camo trebark” motif. The denim jacket pairs a stone-bleached finish with a diamond-quilted sateen lining and graphic embroidery. The leather version offers a refined take, paired with a Hamilton Brown canvas reverse to honor its heritage.

Availability

Launching globally on October 30, 2025, the OG Active Jacket 50th Anniversary Edition will be available at select retailers, Carhartt WIP stores, the official website, and via the Carhartt WIP App in Europe.
