Bandit Running Honors the NYC Marathon with “Run City” Pop-Up and Capsule

marathon

The brand translates marathon obsession into an immersive retail and event experience in Soho.

A Tribute to the Marathon that Defines New York

As the city gears up for the 55th New York City Marathon, Bandit Running is marking the occasion with a limited-edition capsule and a dedicated “Run City” pop-up in Soho. The launch coincides with the lead-up to race day on November 2, where more than 50,000 runners will take over all five boroughs in one of the most celebrated global races.

The Intensity of Marathon Training, Reimagined

“Run City” leans into the mindset of committed marathoners — a world where training eclipses everything else. Bandit builds this ethos into the collection and the environment itself, creating what it describes as a universe shaped by discipline, sacrifice and the pursuit of meaning through movement.

Apparel and Experience Rooted in New York’s Night Energy

The 19-piece capsule channels the city’s late-night rhythm through shadow-washed layers, gritty textures and graphic touches inspired by CCTV grids and motion-blurred streets. Deep asphalt and steel tones are cut by sharp red accents, echoing streetlights slicing through darkness. The pop-up at 489 Broome Street acts as both gallery and clubhouse, hosting runs, community moments and exclusive access to the collection through November 3.
