The global superstar celebrates the 2026 World Baseball Classic with a custom player-exclusive release.
A Signature Sneaker Hits the Diamond
Bad Bunny and adidas have unveiled a special baseball cleat version of the artist’s first signature sneaker, the BadBo 1.0, created exclusively for Team Puerto Rico at the 2026 World Baseball Classic. The cleats bring Benito’s design language from music and streetwear directly onto the field, blending performance functionality with cultural pride.
Members of the national squad, including Kiké Hernández, Edwin Díaz, José De León and Martín Maldonado, debuted the cleats on social media as the tournament kicked off.
Inspired by Puerto Rico’s National Colors
The BadBo 1.0 “Puerto Rico” cleats mirror the team’s uniforms with a two-tone blue and cream color palette. The upper features light baby blue and cream leather, complemented by deep blue suede overlays that add dimension across the side panels.
National identity is front and center. A red embroidered “PR” monogram appears on the lateral ankle, while Bad Bunny’s “BB” initials subtly stamp the design with the artist’s signature touch.
Player Exclusive — For Now
Currently, the cleats are labeled as a player exclusive, reserved only for Puerto Rico’s roster during the World Baseball Classic. However, rumors suggest that a wider retail release of the BadBo 1.0 cleat version could arrive later this year.
If that happens, the collaboration would mark another milestone in Bad Bunny’s expanding partnership with adidas, one that continues to blur the lines between music, fashion and sport.
