An exhibition celebrates Oasis’ rise from Manchester newcomers to rock legends.
Oasis: Be Here Now Exhibition
Opening Sept. 4 at Hollywood’s Musichead Gallery, Oasis: Be Here Now showcases Kevin Cummins’ photos of the Gallagher brothers and bandmates from the early ’90s. The exhibit coincides with Oasis’ long-awaited reunion tour and includes a limited-edition poster, with 500 copies available. Cummins will also host an artist talk and book signing at the opening.
Rare Glimpse Into the Past
The collection features images taken in the year following Oasis’ 1993 signing with Creation Records, the label behind their seminal albums Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?. Many of the photos also appear in Cummins’ recent book, Oasis: The Masterplan, published this past March.
A Perfectly Timed Celebration
The exhibition arrives just before Oasis plays its first Los Angeles shows since 2008, with the Rose Bowl hosting the band Sept. 6–7. The excitement is further amplified by an Oasis pop-up fan store on Hollywood Boulevard, part of the Oasis Live ’25 celebrations sweeping through L.A.
