The final release in the Nuestros Recuerdos series celebrates Día de Muertos through craftsmanship, design, and ritual.

Honoring Tradition Through Design

Clase Azul México has unveiled Recuerdos, the final release in its five-part Nuestros Recuerdos series. Limited to 10,000 bottles, the edition pays tribute to memory and heritage, blending artistry with ceremonial tradition.

Rivera’s Artwork and Craftsmanship

Mexican artist Erika Rivera illustrates the ivory decanter with a serene ofrenda surrounded by spirits in soft tones. Gold-plated ornaments, handcrafted by the family-run Milagros de Latón workshop in Jalisco, feature obsidian cameos that echo the mirrors placed on altars for visiting souls.

The Tequila

Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco crafted the spirit by aging it 12 to 38 months in first-use American whiskey casks. A portion of the agave is pit-cooked, imparting a smoky, nostalgic quality inspired by Tinoco’s grandmother’s kitchen. Tasting notes include agave, orange peel, caramel, and clove, finishing with citrus and toasted wood. The 1-liter bottle (40% ABV) retails for $1,900 USD plus taxes.

Please drink responsibly.
