A ten unit super saloon blends America’s Cup sailing technology with Italian performance heritage.

A Statement of Bespoke Performance

Alfa Romeo has revealed the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, an ultra limited edition debuting at the Brussels Motor Show. Restricted to just ten examples, the model marks the launch of Alfa’s new Bottegafuorisere bespoke program and formalizes the brand’s partnership with the Luna Rossa America’s Cup sailing team. All units are already sold, positioning the car as an instant collector’s piece and a clear signal that high performance internal combustion still has a place in Alfa Romeo’s future.

Aero Inspired by the Water

At its core, the Luna Rossa builds on the Giulia Quadrifoglio’s familiar twin turbo two point nine liter V6, tuned here to produce around five hundred twenty horsepower. A mechanical self locking differential and Akrapovič exhaust heighten the driving experience, while the most dramatic changes appear in the aerodynamics. A full carbon package introduces front canards, revised underbody profiles, deep side skirts, and a split rear wing inspired by the foils of the Luna Rossa AC75 yacht. Alfa Romeo claims the setup generates approximately one hundred forty kilograms of downforce at three hundred kilometers per hour.

Nautical Design and Craftsmanship

Visually, the car channels its sailing inspiration through an iridescent steel grey finish contrasted by a black deck like hood, roof, and rear section, accented with a red side stripe and Luna Rossa branding. Alfa Romeo badges appear on a red background for the first time, while nineteen inch wheels fade from grey to red to mirror the livery. Inside, Sparco bucket seats echo the Luna Rossa crew’s safety gear, and the dashboard incorporates an ultra thin film cut from an actual race sail. Built in Cassino and finished by Italian artisans, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa stands as a focused fusion of motorsport, sailing technology, and bespoke design.
