The new collaboration transforms executive air travel with a cabin inspired by Mercedes’ most refined vehicles.
A Helicopter Designed Like a Luxury Car
Airbus Corporate Helicopters and Mercedes-Benz have introduced the ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition, a new take on private aviation that blends aerospace engineering with automotive luxury. Unveiled in São Paulo, the helicopter reflects Mercedes-Benz’s design philosophy, drawing inspiration from models like the EQS and Maybach concepts.
This latest version replaces the earlier Mercedes-Benz Style edition and focuses on creating a seamless transition between high-end driving and flying. The design emphasizes comfort, elegance and a lounge-like atmosphere rather than traditional aviation interiors.
Performance Meets Refinement
Built on Airbus’s five blade H145 platform, the helicopter benefits from improved engineering that reduces vibration and noise during flight. The updated structure also increases payload capacity, making it more practical for executive transport.
The aircraft can reach a cruising speed of around 130 knots and offers a flight range of up to four hours. These capabilities position it as both a luxury experience and a functional transport solution for longer trips.
A Cabin Inspired by Maybach Interiors
Inside, the ACH145 is designed to feel more like a private lounge than a helicopter. The cabin features genuine wood flooring, sculpted leather seating and metallic accents arranged in a wraparound layout.
The interior can accommodate up to eight passengers and includes built in storage compartments for added convenience. Buyers can choose from six curated design themes or opt for fully customized finishes to match their personal preferences.
With an estimated price ranging between 12 million and 15 million USD, the ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition represents a new level of luxury in private aviation.
