SOREL Launches the Callsign Horizon Low GTX for City and Adventure

sorel

Blending heritage craftsmanship with modern performance for every terrain.

From the Caribou to the Horizon

Since 1962, SOREL’s Caribou boot has carried a legacy of durability, born in Ontario’s Kaufman Rubber Factory from rubber, wool, and full-grain leather. Designed for harsh winters, it became a staple far beyond its Arctic origins. The new Horizon™ collection builds on this heritage, drawing inspiration from explorer Ralph Plaisted’s 1968 North Pole journey, where he relied on Caribou boots.

Design and Technical Features

The Callsign Horizon™ Low GTX represents the evolution of SOREL’s craft, merging tradition with modern technology. Equipped with an Ortholite™ footbed, a lightweight Livelyfoam midsole, and a Molded XS TREK EVO VIBRAM™ outsole, the sneaker is built for resilience and comfort. A Gore-Tex™ membrane ensures waterproof protection, making it equally suited for urban streets and outdoor expeditions.

Availability

The Horizon™ collection, including the Callsign Horizon™ Low GTX, launched on August 26 and is available now through SOREL’s online store.
