An Austin staple honors its own roots through thoughtful sneaker design.

A Collaboration Centered On Home

No-Comply Skateshop in Austin, Texas has officially unveiled its first collaboration with New Balance, using the Numeric 480 silhouette as a canvas to celebrate the shop’s physical space and history. The project is built around honoring the environment that helped shape the store’s identity.

Design Details Inspired By The Shop

The sneaker features rich green leather inspired by No-Comply’s interior walls, accented by gold stitching reminiscent of the warm wood counters and shelves. The sole shade nods to the building’s steel structure, while a deep purple NB Numeric tongue logo reflects the shop’s flooring. Inside, custom artwork by Josh & Me lines the insole, taken from art found in the fitting rooms, and a debossed No-Comply logo on the heel closes the tribute.
